Tieshka K. Smith (b. 1972, Chicago, Illinois) is a Philadelphia-based photographer, writer, and community-engaged artist whose interdisciplinary practice explores memory, place, civic identity, and the ways communities create meaning together. 

Working across photography, writing, archival practice, design research, and participatory mapping, she creates opportunities for public reflection, shared inquiry, and dialogue around complex social and cultural questions. 

She is the author of Compositions of Black Joy: A Visual Chronicle of the Philadelphia Juneteenth Festival (2015–2022), and her work has been exhibited nationally.
